Sister Moon Gardens and Lisa Fuller are hosting a sauerkraut making class in the new Farm Kitchen on Sunday, September 8th from 1 pm - 4 pm. Our new crop of cabbages are just hankering to become this magical concoction and I’ll walk you through the entire process, step by step. While I’m describing the steps, you will be doing them with the tools and supplies provided. Expect to finish the class with your very own quart of hand-made fermented cabbage, as well as instructions on how to ferment other vegetables at home.
Join me as we unlock the mysteries of this time-honored process of preserving our food and increasing its nutritional value.

Cost: $25 and includes supplies, tools, personal instruction and a jar of sauerkraut with post-class support resources. Payment is by cash only, paid at the beginning of class.
